Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using LegalPanel at https://legalpanel.in ("Platform"), owned and operated by Maha Traders. Legal services are provided through SG Law India (SG Law India), an advocate practice operating under Maha Traders. "We", "us", and "our" refer collectively to Maha Traders and its operating divisions.

By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. Service Description

LegalPanel is an online platform owned by Maha Traders that facilitates the drafting, review, and dispatch of legal documents by a practicing advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of India. Our services include, but are not limited to: legal notices, RTI applications, police complaints, affidavits, agreements, power of attorney, and related documents.

We act as a facilitating platform between the client (you) and SG Law India (SG Law India). The legal work is performed by the advocate, and the platform manages the order, payment, and delivery logistics.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform.
• You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable Indian law.
• Our services are intended for use by Indian residents, businesses, and entities.
• By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

3. Ordering Process

1. Select your document type and confirm eligibility using our pre-qualification form.
2. Fill in the required details using our guided form. You may preview the document before payment.
3. Complete payment via Razorpay (our secure payment gateway).
4. The advocate reviews your submission. If approved, the document is finalised, stamped, and dispatched. If rejected (insufficient legal basis or incomplete information), a full refund is issued.
5. You receive your document (and, where applicable, the recipient is served) via email and WhatsApp.

Forms are accepted 24/7. Advocate review is available Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST. Orders submitted outside these hours will be processed the next working day.

4. Payment Terms

• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Payment is collected in full at the time of order placement via Razorpay.
• Pricing: ₹299 for legal notices (advocate dispatches), ₹199 for RTI / police complaints / affidavits (client submits), ₹499 for complex agreements and property documents. E-stamp and e-sign charges are separate.
• Prices are subject to change without notice, but any order for which payment has already been received will be fulfilled at the price paid.

5. Advocate Review and Right to Reject

Every document order is subject to review by the advocate. The advocate reserves the right to decline any order that, in their professional judgment:

• Lacks a valid legal basis.
• Contains false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Involves a matter outside the scope of the selected document type.
• Would require the advocate to act against professional ethics or applicable law.

7. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in all form submissions.
• Ensure you have the legal right to use the information provided (including information about third parties).
• Not use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harassing purpose.
• Not submit documents with the intent to harass, intimidate, or cause wrongful harm to any party.
• Not reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse any part of the Platform.

We reserve the right to cancel any order and ban any user found to be misusing the Platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including document templates, text, design, and code — is the intellectual property of SG Law India / LegalPanel. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the documents prepared for you for their intended legal purpose. You may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute Platform content or document templates without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Maha Traders, SG Law India, and LegalPanel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that order.

We do not guarantee any particular legal outcome from documents issued through our platform. Legal outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Puducherry, India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
